Thank you, nurses

18 May 2016, 13:29  - Joyce.Jagaroo

TO all nursing staff throughout our city, hats off to you and a belated happy Nurse’s Day.

You are the heroes who help societies when they need you the most. Your dedication, nurse, no matter what rank, race or gender, is acknowledged by all.

Thank you, nurses, for helping our terminally ill, handicapped, old aged and children.

May God bless the healing hands you work with every day in rendering the quality care to humanity.

Nursing is your calling and even in the hard times, in chaotic wards and in difficult circumstances, you are strong as you pull through those hard and long shifts.

The compassion you have shown to each patient and the care, do not go unnoticed.

The man above will bless you for your service towards humanity.

Thank you for always smiling when rendering the care, love and compassion you bestow on each and every patient. You are the ambassadors of the health-care industry and the healing hands that encompass them.

To all nurses in every hospital, government or private, thank you for sharing your healing hands with us and caring for us when we need it the most. We appreciate you.

Responsibility is key, but the st...

There are many reasons why a Zodwa born in Site B, Khayelitsha is already disadvantaged compared to a Stacy born in Constantia. Their lives and opportunities are vastly different and though I believe university education can tip the scales, Zodwa still will need to be a provider for 5-10 hungry family members.  Read more...
