touching story

17 May 2016, 07:24  - Joyce.Jagaroo

I WAS touched to read the story about St Anne’s nurse Tracey Ghela, who saved the kitten from the plastic bag.

What an amazing, wonderful person she is. Her selfless dedication not only to people but animals is phenomenal. She is a true angel and I hope her act inspires more people to try to help those animals that are on the margins of society, thanks to those who refuse to or don’t have their pets sterilised.

Thank you for featuring this story on your front page — it made my day and I hope it did many others as well.

It shows that there are good people out there and it’s nice to celebrate a good-news story as opposed to all the corruption, violence and nepotism that so frequently dominates news headlines.
