Poverty the enemy but the ANC don't want to know

Two unrelated and yet very related things happened to me this week.
A black acquaintance  of mine, whom I have not seen for a while, sent me an sms  saying  that his girlfriend had just given birth to a baby girl. Being happy for him, I bought a whole lot of pampers and the sweetest softest pink rabbit that I could find, and marched a long to his flat, not far from where I live.Mo shares a flat with a number of other people, I know this from a previous visit, where I was ushered into the living/kitchen unit. This time I was guided into Mo's bedroom, where his girlfriend was sitting on a mattress on the floor, holding a small brown wondrous little  creature. I held the little person in my arms, coed and jiggled the tiny little thing, whilst the thrilled parents took a   photo of us two with their cellphone. Despite myself, I could not but help take in the pitiful and squalled circumstances of the room. There were so few creature comforts there, that I was overawed by these new parents, who dared to bring a  baby into such difficult circumstances. Both Mo and his girlfriend have jobs, once as a security guard, then doing pizza delivery and now recently in a restaurant. And still so little to show for it!
 They already adore their little girl and will, I am sure, be loving parents. Bringing up the little girl with so few resources will not be easy.
Then came the weekend with the usual bundle of newspapers. Again Zuma. This man, who does not have a standard 2, has never held down an 8-6 job as you and I have, in fact never earned an honest Rand in his life, is now president of SA, thanks to a few pals who are reaping it off with him. If Jacob Zuma were to be thrown out of politics tomorrow, he would not know how to clean a kitchen  floor, so few Rand-earning skills does this man possess.
The Jacob Zuma profile that is  steadily emerging, is that of a HIGH and RECKLESS BIG SPENDER of other people's tax money, of course! He has even manage to bulldoze banks to write off his bad debts. There cannot be enough wives, grandiose compounds, airplanes etc, etc. and frankly, he does not give a stuff about people like you, me or Mo.
So once again, in the end we shall come to the beginning.The unfairnesses and arrogances of the ANC  are unbearable. How can the ANC justify that a profligate big spender like Jacob Zuma  and his clan, live in such splendor, while working class people like Mo and his partner, who work hard, live in such dire circumstances? Here in SA we have 56 ministers! In Switzerland they have 7, Germany 20-22. If they actually did something for the people.... we might be able to start some kind of conversation....
Please explain, I am a willing listener.
