The rude-awakening.

09 November 2012, 11:00

We hope that your mind has been exposed to enough information and technology to understand that what is to follow can become reality – based off of truth, not belief or speculation. Objective reality is solely defined by what the illuminated refer to as Science. Science is what makes this letter possible, encoding the information into data and sending it via satellite or cable, to be displayed on a small screen – right in front of you. Yes, ultimately Science is just a guess – but it’s the best guess that the absolute greatest minds of our time have been able to prove. Scientific Theories explain the fact of substantial evidence for-or-against the question posed. All findings are carefully analyzed and evaluated to allow for collaboration across all fields of Science. Where it matches up and does so repeatedly, there we find truth – and as close to a conclusion on the matter as humanly possible. Most of those marvelous conclusions – as mentioned above – is what allows you to do nearly everything you do in your average day, whether it be the light you turn on or the glass of tap water that you drink. Our minds have come up with some of the most wonderful discoveries, translating into physical advancements not thought possible – benefitting millions, irrespective of any stereotype. Science to-date, contributes more than anything else to the advancement of reality: it shows us what is.

“Science knows it doesn’t know everything. Otherwise it would stop.” – Dara O’Braian

Now, what is it that you understand by the term “Evolution”? Such a big word – and fitting – describing such a wonderfully simple and beautiful fact of life: we are all the same, all animal, all a-life-form, all together on this mother-ship that we call earth – cruising through space in an expanding universe, born from the guts of stars. That is fact. We know more about the night sky than our earthly oceans. Why? Because, what we see out-there is explaining a lot of what happened in the early stages down here on earth, as well as what’s happening all over the entire galaxy – way more than ever thought possible. Every fifty to a hundred-and-fifty million years there is a mass extinction of pockets of life found on the planet; caused by meteors, ice ages or any one of Mother Nature’s random methods of shaking-off dead leaves. The age we live in now might be the only one that has made it this far in terms of intelligence anywhere in the known cosmos – think about that for a second. We evolved to where we are now, able to think like we do, finding conclusions to the questions we ask – by the greatness of everything that was before us and that continues to be. The smartest monkey of them all – after all. Yet here we are, caught in everyday humanly worries: concerned with the mundane and unfortunate events of everyday-life, myths that support slavery – or self-sacrifice, wars not of our making and problems not of our choosing; loosely referred to as the “Human Condition”. Let us rise above it. Or, maybe we should examine the alternative first.

“As soon as liberty is complete it dies in anarchy.”  – Will Durant

Let it burn – all of it. Reset the whole damn planet. Pillage, rape, kill, do whatever you damn well feel like. Exterminate all the animals, all the trees and all we’ve built. All we are capable of is destruction and hate in the first place – wars, famine, fear, hate, power, corruption and money – all for things that make no damn sense, so lets give up – let those who want to keep us suppressed and at their mercy take what they want and do as they please. Inside of us, there is not pessimism, there is only what some refer to as being a misanthrope: someone holding a view of general hatred, mistrust or disdain of the human species or human nature. Let’s just end this ride right here and now. Its what all the great books speak of and what everyone says is going to happen in anyways, so why not let those who are breaking it down keep doing their thing. Watch them do it all or join them in the crusade – it doesn’t matter, shout and scream as loud as you can, blame, oppress, belittle, do it all! Hurt, laugh-at or abuse whoever or whatever you can find – really make them know how important you are, how much you have and what a great time your having doing it all! Lets do Mother Nature a favor and beat her to it – let’s prank her by ending it early, its all a joke after all, let’s make sure we have the last laugh!

“But I am a part of all of this. I am as it were one of the cells in this tremendous brain that I cannot understand, because the part cannot comprehend the whole. Yet at the same time, I don’t feel – like so many people seem to feel – that I am a foreigner or stranger in this world." – Alan Watts

We won’t let this happen. We can't. We understand most of the world around us and keep discovering more each day. This is reality, one you have been experiencing but have hardly been taking note of, resulting in it eluding conscious thought and with it the opportunity of real discovery. It is outside of what you believe to be true, feel to be important and guess to be purpose. We are lured into our “Ant Circle” society, doomed to follow others into the faults of the past; what we currently concern ourselves with, or rather what those before us thought important and indoctrinate us with. Purposely ignoring the only thing that actually furthers us towards a better living standard for every heartbeat that blooms into being. Everybody keeps asking for the answer when we already have it. All that has to change is our perception of mankind’s priorities. On the 10th of September 2012, something large hit our friendly neighbor Jupiter – the impact was the size of earth. An amateur astronomer filmed it by chance; no one had any idea it was even there until it hit. We can cry about our state of being all that we want, it means nothing when you start looking up and out. We can literally be wiped off the face of the planet without a moments notice. We don’t want to give up; we want to survive. The only way to survive is to obliterate our fears and understand that we are not alone. Realise that your fears are self-manifested, your problems never as bad as someone else’s and that your reality is subjective in its entirety unless you can in some way or another find objectivity through a form of proof or method of sound reasoning.

“Asteroids are nature’s way of asking: “How’s that space program coming along?”” – Neil deGrasse Tyson

We need you to wake up: stop flirting with the idea of it or pretending that you are something less than what you can be. Your concerns – although real – are not what you imagine them to be. We can actively be watching the skies, expanding our capability beyond current imagining right here on earth and even start to question the option of immortality within the next century. This is possible. What philosopher’s dream of, generations to come will create. It is mostly being done without your knowledge in any case – you merely accept the cell phone that is put into your hand, or the medicine that prolongs your life – no questions asked. How it’s done, what makes it possible or the intricacy involved in it all is lost because we do not acknowledge it. This needs to change; the planet is in need of solutions. As before, Science will eventually obtain the answers, crude shapes and numbers might describe them, but it works and we are getting better at it every single day. The more people who remain ignorant of the fact do so at the detriment of every other human on this planet. We need more helpers; understanding the capabilities of Science will enlighten more to do it better. The answers we find will change what is to come: support it and have a say – deny it and be excluded. We learn. We adapt. We survive. Don’t make yourself a victim of the world; experience it with understanding, ask and illuminate its radiance. Everyone has their own way of expressing themselves, lets find a common goal and suffice our basic and most fundamental rule of being: to survive. Our answer is Science and all the wonders it brings, every-single-day – in person, what’s yours?

“So it’s a question fundamentally, do you define yourself as a victim of the world or as the world?” – Alan Watts
