We are all guilty!

17 July 2014, 07:43
We are all guilty!
Admit it. You love it! There are a lot of regular contributors to the super/natural debate, and a lot of people that contribute either through comments or articles for the first time. It feels good to voice your opinion in an open platform. Admit it. At least to yourself...
You enjoy the whole bell, from the opposing extremities (Jim Smoke vs Atheitis) that rings and vibrates the hardest, to the more moderate and generally more interesting debates in the nice fat massaging middle, (too many to mention) and even sometimes the most balanced comments can be satisfying/infuriating... (Merry vs typing plenty but saying absolutely zip)
Whether you contribute or read, it's mentally invigorating.
It's so easy to act brash in a single comment, even by our own standards. If you have been at it consistently since the posting, (actively refreshing the sheet out of whatever you are using) it's easy to get baited by 528 into either insults or ad hominems...
But we do it. Why? Because you love it! And you know it.
So please (insert silent prayer to the 0.01% god out there) stop posting articles telling us the moral high-ground, regardless of orientation, is to stop the debate. (Or that it's pointless) Circular logic if you are at least honest with yourself.
All the contributors and readers make this platform amazing, if you can forgive the mods and the cowards deleting base comments if they don't like the response...
Oh, and the ejac and evac preachers, but luckily we are all expert ignornamusesessses... Without the ability to simply ignore, our heads might explode?
I believe in open ended concepts like math, probability, history, statistics, and most importantly, the sciences. (Inc. I know)
Yes, you can include religion, (clearly open ended...) but you cannot prove that the WHOLE thing doesn't only happen in the mind, it manifests not in reality...
So do what you want with my post, love it, hate it, ignore it, fight it etc.I express an opinion, and regardless what it does to yours, if you participate, you are as guilty as me...
