Why does Satan never speak to atheists?

19 January 2013, 14:23
Quite often we see comments by Christians that god or Jesus audibly spoke to them. We know he spoke to Hansie Cronje and turned that good, god fearing, bible believing Christian into a greedy little crook who betrayed his country. So out of idle curiosity I did some Google searches and came up with surprisingly few first hand accounts: surprising given the frequency Christians express their fear of Old Nic and his demon army. Here are some results I came up with.

“One morning I woke up and in my mind came some pictures of naked women. Then I heard a voice speaking to me. The voice said, “This is not the devil.” At once I knew that it was a lying evil spirit, so I rebuked the devil and commanded it to leave.”

Comment: Must have been ashamed of the morning glory.

Satan spoke to me...... in a text message

Comment: Satan obviously keeps up with technology.

Before I knew it, Father Satan sat down on the other side of me, with me in the middle. He spoke to me .....

Comment: “with me in the middle”! Sounds kinky.

My Nighttime Encounter with Satan: God Was Trying to Tell Me Something

Satan was in my room. And he had created some kind of creature in the shadows. It was very unusual, spherical with a foot and a large eye; and skin like melting wax, something reminiscent of the Freddy Krueger movies.

Comment: Well now we know he is not red, have the head of a horned goat, and a tail

I'm worried Satan may be stealing my thoughts?

Comment: Stop worrying. Nobody wants them.

I just heard Satan's voice telling me God has condemned him without mercy and that God never gave him the second chance. He told me that while God accepted Adam and Eve into repentance, he was forever banished from heaven without a good reason. He told me God is hateful to him for an no reason but a innocent mistake made eons ago. Should I believe him?

Comment: Shame. So Satan is now a poor wimp. You should believe him because god has been very nasty to him.

Satan can imitate Jesus/God/Holy Spirit quite well seeing that he used to be in Heaven. But, generally, if it feels Godly but is telling you to do something contrary to God's Word, then it's probably Satan.

Comment: I can believe that Satan dresses up as Jesus and becomes American Jesus with an assault weapon.

How Satan whispers in Ears and Allah shouts to the heart

Comment: Seems that Satan also talks Muslims in to doing evil things.

Now I have never heard an atheist claiming that Satan has appeared before them, tried to influence them or spoken directly to them. So I would be interested to hear “testimony” from Christians and Muslims about their encounters with Satan. And, of course, from any atheists who have encountered the persuasive old bugger.
