Apathetic firearm organisations

08 November 2018, 10:38

The apathy displayed by firearm organisations to the SAPS intention and draft of drastic changes to gun laws shows a deep seated problem that has stifled and killed all opposition possible.

The ANC knowing it is losing control as people no longer fall for the lies and promises of the past become angry with broken promises and unrealised expectations. The ANC are never going to admit blame for criminality and incompetence thus they need scapegoats and defenceless people.

It is hardly surprising that a party based on communist principles and in partner with communists will seek to disarm the population that it fingers as the culprits for failure. Farm attacks already point to the future as soft targets that are the springboard of building confidence of greater action against the chosen victims of ANC failure.

What is completely surprising is that the very worst thing that can be done is to do nothing to raise public awareness of the danger gun control represents to the public under any circumstances in a crime ridden country and a country poised on the brink of massive civil unrest.

That firearm organisations sit idly by saying not one word of objection to ANC intentions of removing citizens firearms is unbelievable but their actions show they have no intention of any action at all. Instead of raising awareness and organising preparation as usual they have their heads sunk as deeply in the sand as they possibly can get.

It is quite obvious firearm officials have no intention of helping firearm owners survive and retain the only safety they can possibly have. That is a gross dereliction of duty and officials not willing to stand up for members should resign immediately and inform members that they are unwilling to help members.

Instead of reading of organisations preparations and plans there is nothing but blank space. Why is that and what is wrong with firearm organisations? It would be in the interests of all firearm owners that somebody present a survey of organisations and what their intention for the future of firearm ownership are.

Some Brazil in South Africa

It would seem that there is only one party in South Africa capable of leading us out of the proverbial Amazon Rain Forest with its various indigenous tribes and natural pitfalls which in our context are self-interest, lack of inter-cultural respect, greed and then similarly to Brazil, crime and corruption. Read more...
