Donald Trump UK visit: The protest by liberal crybabies and Mayor Sadiq Khan

10 July 2018, 11:56

The incompetent Mayor Sadiq Khan of London has approved a giant balloon of a baby Trump to fly over London during the visit of the US president and this is to be joined with a protest by his critics who originally wanted him banned from even visiting.

It's a disgrace that anyone living in a democracy would seek to ban the leader of another country from visiting but should we expect any less from the intolerant left who protest and attempt to censor speakers at universities with worldviews (particularly conservative ones) that they disagree with?

Furthermore, where was the outrage from liberal publications like the Guardian and its supporters when the dictator of Saudi Arabia sent his son to the UK? Let us remember in Saudi Arabia, women are still second rate citizens, LGBT people are executed and there is no religious freedom. Where was Sadiq Khan and his cronies then to protest that state visit against Saudi Arabia's regime? If they were true to their principles and had integrity they would have protested then. Yet, there was mostly silence.

This protest then of Trump, will make the rest of the reasonable world see Britain as an embarrassment with liberal politicians and their "progressive" shills protesting another democracy but being silent on an actual dictatorship.

Furthermore, do any of the protesters even think of why they're protesting? Is it because of the offensive things Trump has said on Twitter? His opposition to immigration? Again, I ask where was Sadiq Khan's and his agreers' principles when he visited Pakistan and was silent on the government's failure to stop the persecution of Hindus and Christians there? Where are the progressives to condemn that?

It's become clear to me from this protest that those protesting Donald Trump have no integrity with what they believe and in protesting , they are also ignoring that unlike many other nations, Trump wants a diplomatic relationship with the UK.

Shouldn't we be able to have a reasonable discussion then with such a person who brought peace amongst the Korean peninsula and for the first time in years opened diplomatic relations with North Korea, defying all of his critics' claims that he would start a nuclear war?

Instead the left and the immature Sadiq Khan would rather protest in an childish manner or snub Trump altogether rather than meeting him to talk.

I strongly suspect this is another attempt by Britain's left wing party (Labour) to detract from the antisemitism controversy from amongst its ranks and for the mayor to continue to ignore that Trump's criticisms of him have proved correct. Under Sadiq Khan's reign of London, police have been cut, stations closed and our crime has surpassed that of New York's.

But only us sane folk are outraged over that.
