How are we still in an energy crisis?

Simple answer: greedy politicians!

They were elected to look out for the man on the street who voted for them, in the first place.

What changed?

Gwede Mantashe refuses to allow independent sources to generate electricity.

If you own solar panels, it needs to be registered. Why? What I do with my money, is my concern.

It has nothing to do with anyone, including the government, who must be held accountable for the energy crisis.

Cyril Ramaphosa is scared, because Gwede controls the unions. But we forget that Cyril contols Gwede! Who can not comprehend that part?

Mandela took a pay cut, when he became president.

All Trump's salary money has to be donated to charities, it's the US law.

What is Cyril's salary, and why does he get to keep it?

He has enough business interests to keep him afloat for awhile.

There are too many fingers in too many pies and now they are being caught in their own webs.

Even tender decisions need to be reviewed every now and again. Who does that?

The same guy who approved the tender, so he does not get caught. Please get an outsider to investigate, because corruption is rife in this government.

And everything must be accessible to the public. There is much that is hidden, because of a lack of interest. We should be interested. It is our country!

The government wants to regulate everything, but cannot accept accountability for anything.

That is the main problem.

It always becomes someone else's problem.

Ramaphosa must take responsibility for the way that the country is run into the ground.

If he can't do that, he should resign. He made that promise to root out corruption and he must stick to it!
