Ramaphosa has to take control

14 February 2018, 11:18

It's time leaders within the structures let the ANC president do exactly what the top brass called on him to do.

Zuma came into power through the use of force and entitlement paddled by Julius Malema. Cyril is a product of Nelson Mandela and understands that we need to uphold an image internationally and that we need to position ourselves properly in the global markets as an investment destination.

The top brass need to focus on the ground by restoring faith with the people as 2019 is leaning closer. People on the ground need leaders as the ANC needs Cyril to restore its image. The regions and wards also need a lot of focus if there will be hope for the next general elections.

The ANC needs to stop and look deep in its structures so it can focus on getting over 70% of the parliamentary seats in 2019. The NEC and NWC will not win the elections for the ANC but the leaders on the ground need to get working yesterday.
