Zuma and his ANC: less Bond and more bland

15 June 2017, 16:44
I pity people who shower so much credit on Jacob Zuma and his ANC as if the party is some well oiled machine, bulldozing it's way to absolute control of anything worth more than 1c and the entire Republic to boot.
You read way, way too much into Zuma and his party`s capabilities or their grasp on what is really going on. The truth is much less Bond and much more bland; they have been standing at the troth and stuffing their faces for so long, that they have lost grip of that golden thread that kept people casting their vote towards them election after election: the ANC of 2017 have FORGOTTEN how it is to be poor, to be working class, to be struggling. In short, they are not the ANC anymore. They are just a bunch of uncoordinated, inept thieves who struggle to keep even the simplest of fingerprints hidden. Alas, our court system churns too slow to provide the instant justice our generation craves... but voters do not forget. Ask Zille. Ask Zuma, come 2019. The ONLY winner thusfar is the EFF and whatever Vavi can muster in the form of a faction that MIGHT end up on a voting ballot by then.
