No one has the right to appeal the right of the NPA to institute prosecution against him or her. Mr Zuma cannot now, after delaying the inevitable since the beginning of this case, claim that he will not be able to get a free and fair trial.
That is a blatant abuse of the system and should not be entertained by the judiciary. Any other person facing the same accusations would have been placed under arrest pending a bail hearing. It is clear that everyone is not equal under the law, certainly not in Mr Zuma's eyes.
If he was truly innocent and aspired to be just the shadow of the leader this country needs and needed for the last decade he should stop his legal maneuvering and let the judicial system, in which he professes to have placed his trust, run its cause and afford him an opportunity to prove his innocence.
Come on Mr Zuma, be a man and step up to be counted, or are you a blatant coward?
