1time plane makes emergency landing

Johannesburg - A 1time plane made an emergency landing at the King Shaka International Airport on Sunday, an airport spokesperson said.

Spokesperson Colin Naidoo said the runway at the airport was closed for the emergency landing from 17:00 to 20:00.

"The runway has now been cleared and re-opened. We are dealing with the 3-hour flight delays."

Naidoo said the reason for the emergency landing will be investigated.

No further information was immediately available.
