Cape Town – Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) said in a statement on Friday that four suspects were arrested for muggings in the nature reserve.
Two suspects were arrested on Monday after officials pursued the individuals from the Kleinplaas Dam to Ocean View, TMNP said.
Further investigation led to the arrest of another two suspects later in the week.
TMNP said the suspects had already appeared in court and were suspected of several crimes in the area over the festive season.
In a separate incident, five perlemoen poachers were apprehended by the park's marine team.
They were caught while diving in a protected area between Partridge Point and Smitswinkel in Cape Point.
