Cape Town - A police manhunt is underway for the killers of a 5-month-old baby and his caregiver in Delmas, Mpumalanga.
Wiehan Botes and his day mother, Margrietha de Goede, 66, were found murdered earlier on Wednesday after his mother alerted the neighbourhood watch.
Rieta, who had tried for eight years to conceive according to Beeld, raised the alarm after she could not get hold of De Goede to check up on her baby who was sick.
She contacted neighbourhood watch members who broke a window to gain entry to the house.
They found another child crying inside, an 18-month old toddler, but there was no sign of Wiehan or De Goede.
Wiehan's body was found hidden under a bed in the house, while De Goede's body was found in an outside store room.
It's suspected that they may have been strangled.
