Durban - Two cousins are expected to appear in the Ntuzuma Magistrate's Court on Monday accused of murdering their neighbour because they thought she was a witch, KwaZulu-Natal police said.
Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Mdunge said the 25-year-old men were arrested last week after a month on the run.
They allegedly stoned to death their 54-year-old neighbour at her home in Ebuhleni village, near Inanda, because they thought she was a witch.
Her daughter witnessed the killing and alerted the police.
Mdunge said an investigation was launched. During this time the suspects fled.
Last week, one of them was arrested at a flat in Mount Moria and the other at his place of work in Montclair.
