Forget Viagra, go for a walk

Tel Aviv - Impotent men should forget about the Viagra male potency pill, and instead go for a walk, according to a new study whose findings were reported on Tuesday in the Israel Ma'ariv daily.

The study, conducted over 18 months by the Medical Centre for Vascular Treatment and Impotence in the Israeli city of Ramat Gan, shows that walking four kilometres three times a week restored proper sexual functioning and cured impotence.

As part of the study, some 243 men between 45 and 55 years of age who suffered from improper sexual functioning, were treated with Viagra before being encouraged to walk regularly.

Dr Alex Olshinsky, who conducted the study, said that 67 percent of the patients no longer needed to take the famous pill once they began their walks. - Sapa-DPA
