Mom strangles, bites daughter to death

Malalane - A 24-year-old Mpumalanga woman suspected of being mentally ill has been arrested for choking and biting her one-year-old daughter to death.

The accused, who cannot be named until she has appeared in court, was arrested at her home in Zibokwane village near the Swazi and Mozambican border on Wednesday morning, a Sapa correspondent reported.

This was after community members reported that she was seen attacking her daughter around 02:00.
