One man's opinion: Doping

As more and more sports on the international stage is hit by contestants doping and certain medications to increase performances, is it not time to perhaps allow this form of "will do anything to Win"?

Lets start with business... Its common knowledge that some of the most successful businessmen and businesswomen are ruthless in their dealings.  Yet its not frowned upon is it?  People working 15 hours a day on the wall street, or lets call it Jozi street (South Africa's own wall street) take enhancing drugs, mostly illegal to improve their concentration.  The likes of cocaine is commnly used as a drug to keep their minds going, yet have you ever read about them being fired for it?

Now, a guy in sport, aka: Lance Armstrong used certain steroids and techniques.  He admitted that he used erythropoietin and human growth hormone, and that he had blood dope

Basically he used techniques to increase his performance whilst riding.  If he could do it, then everyone could do it too.  All his doing is finding ways to increase his performance by taking certain meds to allow his red blood cells to increase thus allowing his performance to increase. If everyone had access to this form of increased performance maybe just maybe the TDF would be exciting cause now everyone is on par with each other.

Now take Rugby, those massive bricks of men. Is there no doping in rugby?  yeah right...  A 22 year old rugby player, 2.2m tall and weighing 150kg, built like a train... A certain Number 8 that missed the world cup due to the fact he was juiced up and if he went he was going to be tested and thus busted so he or rather the team management faked an injury.

How often are rugby players tested?  i believe its once before a major tournament i.e: every 4 years by a major anti doping council.  The rest of the tests are done in house so of course there isn't any doping found... or there is, you just wont ever hear about it.

Point is, you don't just takes these meds and automatically you become bigger and faster... Its still requires hard work and dedication in the gym and track to use the meds to their full potential or allow the meds to do what they are designed to do...

This is one mans opinion and my opinion is doping... whats the issue here really?
