Renowned international rock band Queen has again joined hands with the Nelson Mandela Foundation to organise a follow-up to the November 2003 concert which opened the global HIV Awareness campaign.
The full line-up of artists will be unveiled early next year.
Last year scores of international and local stars agreed to perform at the concert that was held at Cape Town's Green Point Stadium.
The line-up included Beyonce, Bono, Annie Lennox, Peter Gabriel, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Danny K, Anastacia, Baaba Maal and Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
Apart from the 40 000 people who attended the five-hour long concert, nearly one billion people followed it over the internet, television and radio.
The money raised by the concert went towards the Nelson Mandela foundation.
Next year's concert is scheduled for March 19 at the Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate.
The foundation's chief executive officer John Samuel said the impact of HIV on women will be the focal point for the upcoming concert.
