PICS: Four feared drowned crossing flooded river

Durban - Police on Saturday morning resumed their search for four people who were swept away while crossing a flooded river in Crossmoor, Chatsworth in the early hours of the morning.

KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Major Thulani Zwane confirmed three adults and a child are presumed to have drowned.

He said heavy rains were experienced overnight in Durban and search and rescue teams were at the scene to locate the victims.
