Cape Town - Ever dreamed of travelling the world but don't have the means or money to get going? Not to worry. This bare-basics traveller is proof that you only need a trusty pair of wheels and a good attitude to take you on the journey of a lifetime.
The footage shows an anonymous traveller take on the beast that is basic travelling, day by day. Some days are glamorous, with pristine white beaches and deep blue oceans. But other days are rough and tough; riding through the mud and having to camp in a minimalist tent in wet, cold conditions.
The bare basics motorcyclist filmed five minutes of each day's travels and manage to compile the real, unfiltered beauty of expanding your horizons through travel. Take a look:
He visited 13 countries on his road trip, namely Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Spain, Andorra, Monaco, Italy, Switzerland and Austria, all on a simple Suzuki s50 boulevard vs800 motorcycle.
In August this year, Traveller24 shared motorcycling travel bum Steven Hofmann's inspiring travel story as he circumnavigated the entire African continent! Hofmann told Traveller24 the biker bug bit him when he was only 23-years-old, while studying in Bangkok for a semester.
It was during this time that he became familiar with weaving his way through swarming streets on a 100cc bike for the first time in his life, exploring the ancient temples in the city. Ever since, he’s explored the world by bike.
