WATCH: First image from Mars moments after InSight landing

A spacecraft heading towards Mars is gradually slowing down as it is entering Mars.

The vehicle has to turn to face the atmosphere it will take the heat but thermal protection will be provided on the device.

It must survive the high-speed approach and scorching heat of entering the Red Planet’s atmosphere.

It is possible that signal loss and blackouts will take place as the spacecraft gets closer to landing.

The spacecraft has no damage and will be able to complete its mission since its landing moments ago.
