… and never panic again about what to take to the office (or to send to school) for birthdays at the last minute. Also, there’s very little that a tray of gooey brownie goodness can’t fix.

Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 20 x 20 x 4cm baking tin. Place 200 g roughly chopped dark chocolate, 150g butter, 2 t vanilla paste into a glass bowl. Melt over a saucepan of simmering water. Set aside to cool slightly. Beat 150g caster sugar and 3 free-range eggs until light and fluffy. Pour in the chocolate mixture and whisk until well combined. Sift in 75 g flour, 2 T cocoa, 1 t salt. Gently fold using a spatula – do not overmix. Stir in 100g Woolworths dark chocolate drops. Pour mixture into the baking tin and bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool in the tin, then turn out onto a clean surface. Slice into squares and top with a dollop of Woolworths marshmallow frosting mix. Brown the frosting using a blowtorch. Serve immediately… brownie points scored!

Here’s something that’ll make you feel even better about your chocolate habit: by buying the right kind you’re helping to support farmers, their families and parts of the planet where responsibly grown and sourced cocoa is farmed. Woolies is sourcing more and more sustainable cocoa for its chocolates by partnering with an international company called UTZ. Exactly 100% of the cocoa sourced for Woolworths’ branded boxed chocolates, bars and slabs is now responsibly sourced – by the end of 2018, all cocoa as an ingredient in Woolworths-branded foods will carry the UTZ Certified label. So you can choose with tomorrow in mind.
