Microsoft wins patent case vs Motorola

Berlin - Microsoft has won a patent case in Germany against Google's Motorola unit over technology for mobile devices.

A Munich state court ruled on Thursday that Motorola Mobility infringed a Microsoft patent covering the way mobile devices handle input commands from users.

The ruling means Google will have to modify its Android operating system or pay Microsoft a license fee to use the technology in devices sold in Germany.

The Munich court said Google can appeal the ruling.

The same court ruled a week ago that Motorola infringed an Apple patent on mobile technology known as "bounce-back".

I think it's real cool that Samsung paid Apple with a billion dollars in 5cent coins

Samsung didn't pay Apple in 5c coins... They haven't even paid yet as the ruling isn't final yet... Geez people believe anything...
