I’m green dub boo dee dub boo die.

One woman found herself bored at home and secretly dyed the family dog bright green.

Caitlin O’Connor (20) captured the moment she showed the beloved Ted’s new look off to her mom and it was absolutely priceless, the Mirror reports.

Caitlin felt the family pet needed a new look in time for his birthday.

While her mom Carolin was cooking in the kitchen, the 20-year-old snuck Ted to the bathroom and gave him his makeover with some semi-permanent green pet dye, Mail Online reports.

“My mother idolises my dog and treats Ted like a human so I knew she would react crazy if I did it behind her back,” Caitlin said.

“I did it in the bathroom upstairs while she was doing dinner because I knew she wouldn't come upstairs.

'It's a semi-permanent dye safe for dogs so it lasts for 10 washes.

“You could tell that Ted knew something was going on, when he walked into the kitchen, he turned around and looked at my mum like he knew something had happened.”

And her mum had the best reaction.

“I was in shock. I didn’t have a clue that it was happening. She planned the whole thing,” Carolin said.

“My reaction was speechless. I couldn't speak, I was shocked. I couldn't believe that she did it.

“I find it hilarious, it's safe dye and it was fine.

“I always said my children could be creative and express themselves freely but I think they took it a bit too far.”

Caitlin posted her mom’s reaction to Ted’s remarkable transformation on Twitter where it has since gone viral.
