The “before” and “after” pictures of this Pomeranian will make you rethink grooming your pooch yourself.

Dog owner Hermione Olivia from Sydney, Australia, wanted to keep her beloved dog Mash looking his best – even during the lockdown.

But after her grooming attempt took a hilarious turn, Olivia now agrees that cutting her pet's hair is something she’ll definitely leave to the professionals in the future, Daily Mail reports.

Taking to her Instagram page, she shared a picture of Mash before the botched trim – but it was the “after” picture of the unrecognisable Pom that left many of her followers in stitches.

“Take it from @bossmash and wait until the professionals are back,” Olivia captioned the pictures of Mash.

However, his new look definitely made many smile and even amassed a fanbase.

“That is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time!!!” one follower commented.

“I'm actually dying of laughter”, added another.

As for his dog mom, she won’t be going near a pair of trimming scissors anytime soon, Independent reported.
