The Instagram influencer, who cashed in on her bathwater, has had her account shut down after she’d been reported.

Belle Delphine, who lives in the UK but was born in South Africa, announced earlier this month that she was selling bottles of her bathwater to “thirsty gamer boys”.

The post garnered more than 500 000 likes on social media.

Belle, who had a global following of more than 4,5 million Instagram followers, sold the bottles for $30 (R420) each, Complex reports.

The 19-year-old, who identifies as a cosplayer (someone who wears costumes of certain characters) and gamer girl, revealed during an interview with The Guardian that her bottled bathwater sold out immediately.

“Lots of people would comment on my photos saying they would drink my bathwater,” Belle said.

“One day I was thinking of new ideas, and thought ‘What if I actually bottled and sold my bathwater?’”

Despite the high demand for her product, the teen’s Instagram account was shut down on Friday 19 July after users reported her account for breaching community guidelines.

“Sorry, this page isn’t available,” is the only message her millions of fans saw when they wanted to go to her profile on Friday.

It’s not yet known whether her account has been taken down permanently or temporarily, Unilad reports.

If it’s the latter the youngster may appeal the decision in order to regain access to her account.
