14 Injured in head-on collision

ON Saturday morning, 30 January, Netcare 911 paramedic responded to a head-on collision on the M37 in Amanzimtoti.

“Paramedics found the crumpled remains of the car in the middle of the intersection of the M35 and the KwaMakutha link road, the taxi came to rest against the Armco barriers about 50 metres down the road,” Netcare 911, media liaison officer Chris Botha said.

“After triaging the injured, it was found that 14 people sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor. Medics stabilised the injured before transporting them to various hospitals ,” he said.

Exact detail to the cause of the crash will remain a subject for the South African Police to investigate. - Supplied.
