KINGSBURGH Child and Family Welfare thanks all who helped make the 21st year of their schools art competition a success.

and#034;A big and#039;thank youand#039; to Bev of Seadoone Mall for allowing us to display the childrenand#039;s art. To the shops who so kindly allowed us to use their window space, we thank you for having that community spirit,and#034; Oriel Andrews, art convenor said.

She thanked Hypersure Insurance Brokers who have sponsored this competition for the past 21 years and judges Melissa Botha and Ronnie from the Upper South Coast Art Society.

and#034;The real stars of the art show are the pupils who created such beautiful works of art. Itand#039;s not all about winning, but to know you have contributed in your own way to a worthy cause. All the R5 entry fees go to providing food for those less fortunate in our community,and#034; said Andrews.

Like so many organisations, Kingsburgh Child and Family Welfare is not government-funded, so projects like this are important.

Because of the generosity of Seadoone Mall, management, each winner received a gift voucher for Seadoone Mall.
