IN support of Womanand#039;s Month, Kingsburgh Child and Family Welfare conducted domestic violence training. The course is an AECI-funded initiative.

“Through the medium of our programme we provide women and men with skills and techniques on how to deal with victims of abuse,” Sandra Govender, senior social worker said.

Govender said women were uplifted and encouraged to help people break the cycle of abuse. They were taught to recognise their own strength and to be the change they want to see in the world.
