PRE-SCHOOL pupils from Noah’s Ark visited Umdoni Bird Park on Wednesday to study birds. “Birds and eggs is one of our themes for this year, and we thought this is the ideal place to learn and have fun,” said principal Nadia Haylock.

The children enjoyed a picnic before exploring the park. “Noah’s Ark School is a ministry of the Amanzimtoti Baptist Church. The school was started 23 years ago. We have 82 pupils aged between two and six and follow a Christian co-curriculum,” Haylock said.

Classes on average have 30 pupils, depending on the age group and each class has a teacher and a teacher’s assistant.
