Fables of men, or God’s commandments

2015-10-28 06:00

THE piece below was placed in another paper a few weeks back, it is so beautiful, however I want to respond biblically. (Please read the scriptures given for full understanding).

God's amazing love: Jesus

1. God loves each of us unconditionally. No matter what we have done or are doing, God loves us.

2. There is nothing on earth that can ever separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38).
3. God's love for us is shown in God sending his son Jesus to die on the cross for all our sins (past, present and future.(John 3:16). The more you understand how much God loves you, the more you will love yourself, the more you will love others. You were born to succeed in all things. May God's love for you transform you.

4. Whether you go to church or not, God loves you unconditionally. The devil has no hold or power over you. Jesus paid it all for you at the cross. Every time the enemy reminds you of your sin, know Jesus loves you and paid all your debts in full.

5. The devil has blinded many people to God's amazing love and grace for them. Satan wants you to be depressed, angry, rejected and hate yourself.

6. God is not mad at you, he is madly in love with you. You are loved accepted and blessed by God's grace and favour. May you succeed and be blessed in all things in Jesus name.

1. Does God love unconditionally? Exodus 15:26, ("If thou would diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord. Matthew 6:33 ("but seek ye first …"), both of these sound like conditions, there's many more. Does God love us no matter what we are doing? Leviticus 18:22 (sodomy is an abomonation/horror) the following people saw God's wrath, because he cares what we do: Adam and Eve, Sodom and Gamora, Noah's ark, Soloman, the church of Laodiceans (Revelations 3:14-16) for the people that think that since Jesus came God doesn't care, also read Rev21:8.

2. Can something seperate us from the love of God?

(Rev 8:38-39) firstly, this piece in Romans is a song of triumph, verse 39 says, "nothing can seperate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord". Romans 8:1 says that we are in Christ if we walk after the spirit (being obedient), but are not in Christ if we walk after the flesh (sin). So sin will separate us from the love of God. When Jesus healed or taught, he said go and sin no more, not go and sin a little bit.

3. So Jesus died for past, present and future sin so we can now go crazy? God gives us grace if we slip, once we have been washed in his blood, not if we make it a habit. Romans 6:1-2. “Should we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid!” Hebrews 10:26-27. "If we sin wilfully after knowing the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins".

4. So we can also skip church? Hebrews 10:25. "Do not forsake the assembling" (meaning don't forsake the gathering of the saints).

5. Yes, many have been blinded to God’s grace. Remember if there is no law, there is no sin, then grace is not needed, as there is no judgment day without sin.

6. God is not mad at his obedient children. But what will happen to you if you keep on sinning. Revelations 22:15 and 21:8

NB. Remember Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments", also read Matthew 5:17-20, accept Jesus, be obedient in all things (stop sinning), bear fruit for the kingdom (take word to God's people)(Matthew 3:10 and Matthew 10:5-6).
