TWO of the kittens rescued by Virginia Scrooby, who assists with the feral cat problem in Warner Beach, still need a home.

“The two five-month-old female semi-feral kittens are not altogether tame and for that reason nobody will adopt them. I need a safe place for them to live where they will be fed and cared for. However, I cannot place them where I would need to contribute financially to their upkeep. I just cannot afford to do that,” Scrooby said.

“If somebody can adopt them and don’t mind that theyand#039;re not completely tame, that would be wonderful.

“I am hoping to home them somewhere in KwaZulu-Natal. The kittens will be sterilised before going to their new home. I would prefer that they stay together because they are exceptionally close, but this is not a necessity. They will come to you asking for attention, but wonand#039;t actually allow you to touch them. They do love company though,” Scrooby said.

They have never been outdoors, because she would not be able to bring them back inside.

“They are mostly indoor cats, but I am sure they would love to live where they can be indoors or outdoors.”
