CONCERNED Amanzimtoti residents noticed on Monday that the road works department left a pile of rubbish in a field along Kingsway, opposite the area where they worked last week.

The situation was aggravated by the public, who added trash to the area, turning it into a dump site. Residents have phoned the department asking it to clean up on completion of their work.
