Robbery in Lewis Drive

2015-05-27 06:00

AT 12.30pm on 21 Thursday, robbers hit a house in Lewis Drive. “The complainant came out of the bathroom and walked into her room where she was approached by the burglars. A black male armed with a knife told the woman to sit on the bed,” Captain Charlene van der Spuy said.

“A further two black males then walked in and threatened to stab her. They locked her in her toilet and tied her up,” she added.

The woman was later found in the bathroom. An Acer laptop and a bottle of Black Label whisky were taken during the incident. “The suspects fled on foot,” Van der Spuy said.
