TWO CombatCoaching. com members, Jason Brown and Greg Lander-Ritchie, were chosen to represent KwaZulu-Natal in the South African Police Service Martial Arts tournament in the Western Cape from 7 to 11 September.

Brown injured himself in his bout, but still made the national kick-boxing team as team coach.

Lander-Ritchie got a bronze in the inter-provisional kick-boxing tournament and made the national team.

During the national tournament against an invitational team, SAPS drew, but lost in total by nine points only. This time, Lander-Ritchie was injured during the fight and had to withdraw.

Brown has been voted kickboxing co-ordinator for the South African Police Service Martial Arts Association and disabled co-ordinator as he is a an amputee who fights against able bodied fighters. - Supplied
