Six injured in Twini Hill accident

SIX people were injured after two vehicles collided on the Umbogintwini Hill at around mid-day, Saturday.

A report from the scene indicates that one vehicle slammed into the rear of the other vehicle.

Exact details to the cause of the accident are still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.

“Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed with accident debris and the twisted frames of the vehicles. After triaging, it was established that two people had sustained serious injuries while four escaped with minor injuries,” Chris Botha, Media Liaison Officer - Netcare 911 reported.

Paramedics treated the injured at the scene before transporting them to various hospitals for the care that they required
