Welfare society says thank you

2015-08-26 06:00

KINGSBURGH Child and Family welfare thanks the public for their support at their family fun day on 8 August and Under the Tree Pre-School for hosting the event.

“Kingsburgh Child Welfare is not government funded, so events like the family fun day, which brought in much-needed funds, are fantastic,” said chairperson, Jenny Smith.

Dylan Barber was the lucky raffle winner of the food hamper and George Murray won the elephant painting.

Smith said the next project will be the schools art competition at Seadoone Mall at the end of September.

“Our charity shop at our office at 2 Hall Road, Warner Beach, is always ready to accept clothing any size, household goods, etc. We are open Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 12pm,” Smith said.
