Amanzimtoti Bowling ClubIn the coming weeks the A green at Amanzimtoti Bowling Club will resemble a floodlit T20 cricket pitch as teams face off against each other to decide once and for all who the Amanzimtoti B20 Cricket Bowls Champions are.Proving that this new and exciting format of bowls is not for sissies or old men dressed in white, Amanzimtoti Bowling Club challenges businesses, schools, sporting clubs and organisations in town to enter a mixed ladies and men’s team willing to go to war for their team’s honour. Teams of three are encouraged to design their own uniforms, wear their brand on their chest and even bring their own cheerleaders, as they put their best bare foot forward and get those bowls rolling. To ensure the fight is fair, a pre-game crash course is available to all teams. Bowls will be available at the club for the teams to ensure they are adequately armed. Please note – maximum of one recognised bowler per team. Suitable refreshments and sustenance will be available before, during and after all games to ensure that warriors’ throats are kept lubricated and their energy levels high.If your organisation has what it takes to field a team of three willing warriors, contact Amanzimtoti Bowling Club to sign up - but hurry, only 12 teams can be accommodated. Call the organiser on 083 631 0676 or email firstname.lastname@example.org Dates for the challenge are:1 March, 8 March, 15 March, 22 March, 29 March, 5 April (finals), 12 April (standby) and 19 April (standby).Amanzimtoti Tennis Club newsWork on our courts 1, 2 and 3 is now complete and they are looking great, but we cannot play on the courts for another two weeks, so players are urged to be patient.
