Amanzimtoti Athletics Club participated in the Deloitte Challenge Marathon and Half Marathon, hosted by the Dolphin Coast Striders, was held on Sunday, May 7. The following results were recorded:

Please note that reflective belts are mandatory for time trials.

Weekly time trials are on Wednesday - walkers 5.30pm (4km) and (8km) and runners 6pm (4km) and (8km) options.

Visitors are always welcome to join. Please meet at the clubhouse at Hutchison Park. Saturdays there is an 11km run and walk from Club house 5.30am for walkers and 6am runners.

Tea, coffee and biscuits served afterwards. Visitors are more than welcome to join in and keep fit.

Amanzimtoti Tennis Club news

Results of Midweek league played on Wednesday, May 3, are: 1st team had a 6-0 win over Kloof 2 and the 2nd team lost to Glenashley 2 by 4-2.

Wednesday, May 17 the 1st team play Kloof 1 at Kloof. The 2nd team travels to Hillcrest to play Hillcrest 2. Social players all the courts will be available for play on Wednesday morning.

Saturday mixed doubles - both teams had a bye on May 6. Saturday, May 13, the first team play Coastal Breeze 1 at Windsor Tennis Club and the 2nd team is at home against Kloof CC.

Two courts will be available for social games in the early afternoon with more available as the league matches are completed.

Our development clinic for primary school children is happening on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am.
Free coaching is available for children keen to learn the game. Racquets are available for use and children must please wear suitable shoes.
