AMANZIMTOTI High School recently hosted their matric art exhibition at the school on Wednesday, September 6.
Principal Louise Lemmer said art teacher Sandy Naidoo achieves top results with art every year.
“She is a woman with a passion for her work and a love for her pupils,” Lemmer said.
An education departmental moderator conducted an external moderation of the work at the school and of the 23 matric art pupils, 15 obtained As, while six achieved 100%.
“The standard of Mrs Naidoo is so high. Pupils, no teacher could have gotten the best out of you like she did. While you are talented, these results did not happen overnight. Some of you have worked so hard, at times I have seen tears. One pupil, who only started art in Grade 11, produced great work. I am so proud of you.”
