Body found in bush

THE body of unknown black male was found next to the M37, in Kwaremi area, Amanzimtoti.

“On Saturday, 18 February at around 7am, the body of an unknown African male was discovered in the bush by a pedestrian in Kwaremi. 
“The deceased is about 60 and was dressed in a black pants and a blue overall top,” SAPS PRO Captain Charlene van der Spuy said.

She said there were no external injuries visible on the body, therefore the cause of death will only be determined at a post mortem examination.

“Inquiries made in the area where body was found revealed that the deceased was a possible mental patient. A case of inquest was opened for further investigation and the body was taken to Park Rynie Mortuary with reference number 67/2017,” Captain Van der Spuy said.

The Amanzimtoti SAPS is asking anyone who can identify the deceased to contact Warrant Officer Erasmus at Amanzimtoti Detectives during office hours on
031 913 1324.
