Body found on beach near Toti Golf Course

On Saturday, 11 February at 5pm the body of an unknown black male was found on the beach next to the Amanzimtoti Golf Course.

“The deceased is estimated to be about 25 years and was wearing a denim shorts and navy T-shirt,” said SAPS PRO Captain Charlene van der Spuy.

She added the cause of death could be possible drowning as no external injuries were visible.

A case of inquest was opened and is being investigated by Amanzimtoti Detectives.

The body was taken to Gale Street Mortuary with ref: PM 230/2017.

Anyone with information who can assist with the identification of the deceased is asked to contact Amanzimtoti Detectives on 031 913 1324 during office hours Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4pm. - Supplied.
