SAPPHIRE Coast Tourism made 14 orphans dreams come true this holiday season when they helped the Louis Botha Children’s Home organise a holiday for them at discounted accommodation prices and arranged a week of sponsored fun activities.
“Many children can describe how the ocean feels or how it feels to go on a holiday, but unfortunately, in most cases when it comes to the children living in a children’s home, they have not yet had the privilege of having these amazing, and yet basic experiences,” Louis Botha Children’s Home’s Grieta Gelderman said in a letter to tourism.
Gelderman stated in a letter to sponsors: “Thank you for your contribution to Louis Botha Children’s Home. We appreciate your help and positive attitude towards our children. It is always a pleasure to give positive feedback to people who really care and make a difference in the lives of our children. You can be assured that your contribution made a huge difference and is truly appreciated.”
