THERE have been some promotions in Durban Tourism, with S’bu Mngoma being promoted to services manager at its head office in Florida Road. The Sapphire Coast Tourism committee congratulated Sibongile Ntetha as acting CTO manager, overseeing Sapphire Coast, Umlazi and Sodurba CTOs, and Hlengiwe Nxele as acting office manager and Durban Tourism trainee Zanele Mbulula.

“Our committee also welcome­s back to our shores, Jayce Govender, as beach superintendent, who brings with him a wealth of experience, having participated in the filming of a sea rescue series for DStv’s Travel Channel and being involved in a number of high-profile events on the Durban­ beachfront,” said Sapphire­ Coast Tourism chairperson, Kim McCarthy.
