THE Arbour Crossing Retail Centre Soccer Clinic hosted by Primo Sport was established in 2016.

The aim of the clinic is to uplift the skills and social levels of children from schools in the Amanzimtoti area.

Having been running for two years, the clinic has seen among the children a great improvement in their skills’ levels, particularly the players who have taken part in previous clinics.

The clinic is managed by Primo Sports operations manager Enzo Coppola, who is an experienced soccer player and coach.

Former Bafana Bafana coach Clive Barker also endorses the soccer coaching clinic. He said that he feels so privileged to be part of the coaching clinic and furthermore, it is an amazing event with great potential and talent.

The soccer clinic was recently held at the Arbour Crossing Centre and Coppola spoke about how management is looking into hosting the clinic frequently. “The centre management is very keen to roll out this clinic at least twice a year going forward.”

Coppola added that the public can also get involved in the soccer clinic. “The community can get involved by contacting the centre management and if there are sufficient numbers then there can be a component of centre visitors who can take part in the clinics, but this has to be done well in advance,” said Coppola.

Marketing manager of Galleria Mall Anusha Timul, said: “We are so proud to host Clive Barker at Arbour Crossing Retail Centre.”
