Darkness at the car park

2016-04-27 06:00

WINKLESPRUIT residents are concerned about the continual malfunctioning of night lights serving the Winklespruit beach car park in Sea Front Drive and the flood light at the public swimming pool.

The parking area lights have been out of order for several weeks.
The latest outage occurred during the peak Easter holidays, making the area unsafe for visitors at night.

“Despite reporting the fault to Metro Faults Centre on Monday 7 April, with reference number 3286640, and many telephone calls to the different Metro Departments, nothing has been done as yet,” said a concerned resident, Lee Madsen.
