THE Sapphire Coast Tourism (SCT) hosted their Easter Holiday Campaign at the Toti Main and Winklespruit Beaches over the weekend in an attempt to attract as many holidaymakers to visit the coastline during the holiday season.

The beach program is to entertain young and old Amanzimtoti locals and holidaymakers as well as local people enjoying the Easter holidays.

The weekend was jam-packed with beach games and entertainment for children and parents.

There were load of prizes that were given away in the spirit of Easter while the SCT held Easter egg hunts, egg painting, egg throwing and egg-spoon racing for the children.

The weekend was filled with loads of activities to keep children busy with Funland having their mobile ten-pin bowling lane at the Toti Main Beach and also giving away vouchers. Happy Drums performed on both beaches, serenading the attendees with their music. The Stranddiens also came out and entertained the crowd during the weekend.

President of the Sapphire Coast Tourism Romy Wenzel said: “All in all, it’s about the fun time with family and friends whilst visiting the Sapphire Coast.

Thank you to DJ Fluffy and DJ Chris for playing the tunes at Amanzimtoti Main Beach and Winklespruit Beach, the Stranddiens Team and Dolphin Bowl/Funland for entertaining Amanzimtoti Beachgoers, Happy Drums for jamming the djembe drums, Aliwal Shoal Scuba for doing the ‘out of the ordinary’ dive presentation at Inyoni Rocks Swimming Pool and all sponsors involved that made this year’s Easter holiday program a little more special.”
