Environmental expert to talk on current issues

THE public are invited to an informal talk on environmental issues at the Art on Kingsway Gallery at Oasis Caltex Centre on Saturday, October 7 from 9.15am.

Guest speaker, Kendyl le Roux, has lived in Toti all her life and completed her schooling at Kingsway High.

She was a lifesaver for Toti and enjoys surfing. Her passion is understanding the ocean and although she studied for her Master’s degree in the United Kingdom, she is completing her PHD at UKZN.

Le Roux will be discussing issues pertaining to the ocean, the whales, the dolphins, the pollution and a few thoughts on global warming.

The Upper South Coast Art Association (USCAA) invites the public to join them for juice and snacks and a
discussion with this knowledgeable speaker. There will also be a lucky ticket draw to win a painting. The proceeds from the association’s monthly painting lucky draw will be donated to NSRI.
